Exhibitions usually bore me... heh. There have been exceptions... I loved Emily's "I'll Stand By You"... Michelle Kwan's "Fields of Gold" and others... but generally I'm all about the thrill of the competition.

I see what you mean, but having watched a few of the TEB videos besides Emily's, I just don't see the appeal at all. They all seem to be:
skate a bit, JUMP!
skate a bit, JUMP!
skate a bit, JUMP!...

There's more jumping than skating. :(

Maybe I'm exaggerating, but one thing I love about exhibition routines, like Emily's "Taking Chances," or her delightful "Proud Mary," is that while there are a few jumps, most of the time is spent actually skating, which I really love to see.

The competition angle, I can definitely understand, but I prefer the way exhibtion routines are put together.
