Novice Posts: 114 Group: Members Member #242 Joined: July 22, 2008	So, do all of Emily's fans know what her birthday is? I'd like to claim that I did something terribly clever to find out, but no. I just happened to discover her bio page at isufs.org: http://www.isufs.org/bios/isufs00008503.htm Her birthday is January 26 (1989), in case anyone wants to send her a present. (Just two days after Nationals -- I hope she leaves the competition with a gift in the form of gold, silver, or bronze.) She'll be 20 -- finally out of her teens. How extraordinary to think of all of the accomplishments that she's already had, all while still a teenager. And so much more to come! I especially liked reading this in her bio: Quote: Hobbies: reading, baking, cooking Figure skating really couldn't find a better role model for young girls than Emily, both in terms of body image and in terms of character. I wish she got more publicity. When you think of all the tawdry Hollywood celebs that girls idolize today, Emily is an infinitely better star for them to emulate and be inspired by.
