Emily has had to withdraw from Nationals because of an ankle injury: - Article link I don't even care that much about competitions, but I was just eagerly anticipating seeing Emily skate again, at least on TV. I earnestly hope that she gets better soon, and that she will be back on the ice as soon as she can be. I can't even imagine how she must be feeling. I sincerely and wholeheartedly wish her all the best. In retrospect, I really wish she had put off university for a few years. After all, school would always be there for her, but skating is now. This is just me speculating, but I don't think she realized how much time doing an undergrad involves. For most anyone, high school is pretty easy, but in university, one's time is completely absorbed by essay-writing, preparing for exams, etc. Please get better soon, Emily.
