Here is an entry made by Emily in her journal. It gives a peek at what's coming up. She's keeping her same short program choreo by D Wilson. Fortunately (IMHO) she's dropping Carmina Burana and will be skating to Gone With the Wind. Tara's Theme or perhaps another cut?

She's been training with Bonnie this summer while she was in New York. So Bonnie's had a lot of input into the music choice and working through the elements for the new choreography.

No mention of Mark or Peter in this journal.

Interesting... over at Sashafans, Gone With The Wind was suggested quite a few times for Sasha's final LP (if Sasha is coming back, which doesn't seem very likely now, but that's another story...) Have many other people used that music?

I think it's smart to keep the same SP, because it served her really well last season, and she didn't really even get to perform it very many times (twice?) And thank god she changed the LP music. It wasn't bad, but definitely NOT Emily. Can't wait to see her in person in January!!

Some skaters who have used Gone With the Wind:

Marina Klimova & Sergei Ponomarenko
Steven Cousins
Anna Rechnio
Diana Poth
Victoria Volchkova

I agree about Carmina Burana, her last year's LP. It was so wrong on so many levels. Actually, I thought the music was a good choice for her, but it was the choreo and the placement of the elements and other things that didn't do justice to her style. Her performance at Skate Canada really showed the weakness of the overall design.
