Emily was listed to compete in the Colorado Collegiate Competition this month. She pulled out of the event. Does anyone know why? Sidebar- The event was won by Alissa. Do you think Emily will compete in an event before regionals? She's not listed for this weekend's Cranberry Open-Mid Atlantics is coming up and so is the Boston Competition. Maybe we'll get a chance to see her skate her new program at one of these events. I'll try to attend at least one of these events. |

On another forum (which isn't worth naming) someone reports an unsubstantiated rumor that she has a sprained ankle. Didn't she withdraw from Nats because of ankle problems also? Not good. |

I read that rumour also, but it could be simply that she didn't want to interrupt her training time. (Just speculating here.) She's probably very anxious to get back into top form. They said it was a hip problem that caused her withdrawal from Nationals. I 'm hoping she's had time to ready her programs for her upcoming events. Good Luck Emily. |

That's right... it was Kimmie that had the sprained ankle. OK then... at least it's not some recurring injury. |
