http://www.manleywoman.com/ This interviewer has recorded nearly twenty interviews with individuals in the field of figure skating. Since this is the Emily Hughes Forum, you might be interested in the interview done with Emily's mother, Amy. It's #6. If you can, try to find time to listen to the other interviews, especially Charlene Wong's. This, in my opinion is the finest interview of them all. Mrs. Wong's responses are compelling, deep and insightful. A couple of interviewees are so self-serving that it becomes a chore to listen to them. Some of them still have an axe to grind even many years after a disappointing result. Then you have a great historical approach, i.e Frank Carroll and John Nicks. I also liked Doug Wilson who was responsible for the memorable video shots done at competitions through the years. Don't miss Philip Mills, he's had such a fascinating career from dancer to figure skating choreographer. He has wonderful stories to tell. |
