Skating would be OK, but I'd much prefer the "long segment" interview thing. We've seen her get appearances, and all she does is skate with very little interview at all. I'd like to hear about her college experience, her current goals, what she thinks of her competition, whether she will miss not being at Skate America, and possibly why she came in 3rd at Regionals (!) I'm dying for info! |

That's a good point. I agree. One of the things that I really loved about her appearance on "Rachel Ray" earlier this year was that it was mostly discussion. Emily talked about her general life interests. She mentioned how much she enjoys baking, for example, and then eating what she bakes with her friends. It was a fun, lively chat. Well, we'll see today... |

I just saw Emily on The Today Show. Wow, she looked gorgeous. She's wearing her hair longer now, and it absolutely transforms her beauty, making her much more attractive. The hair arrangement was stunning as well. She should definitely keep this look. Plus, she is very fair -- a real "Irish Rose" complexion. Breathtaking. Definitely the loveliest of all figure skaters. Very stylish costume as well -- perhaps my second-favourite after her Ice Chips outfit. Knowing that she designs her own wardrobe makes it all the more impressive. She knows what works for her. Only one regret: I really miss how curvy she was earlier this year, as she is very thin in this performance. She still has great legs, though. She adopts a very fluid, romantic style when she skates to Celine Dion -- languid, flowing, and graceful, in keeping with the melody and lyrics -- and it really suits her.
