Novice Posts: 109 Group: Members Member #242 Joined: July 22, 2008	On Harvard Time is apparently a humour-oriented program put up by the students at Harvard. Their latest episode features a wonderful clip of the host getting a skating lesson from Emily. Even in warm-ups, she looks so beautiful, and she's witty and charming too. No other skater comes close to being so natural and charismatic in front of the camera: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iC34SsX3cfM&fmt=18 Emily's segment lasts from 1:13 to 3:52. The poor host tries so hard to get Emily to go out with him (who can blame him?). It's a really enjoyable bit. But the segment contains some news as well. Apparently, Emily will be taking a year off school to focus on skating! Whatever happens, it will just be such a pleasure to see her on the ice more often. And it was delightful to see her in this clip.

Proud global mod! Posts: 1,764 Group: Global Moderator Member #19 Joined: November 8, 2006	That was very cute! I loved the part where he said "couple skating minus the skating plus a restaurant". ;) Of course, the best part is that she's returning and that we get to see her on the ice again!

Mind you, I can't even begin to imagine the quality of offers that Emily has on the dating front. Her standards might begin at European royalty, and up from there. EmilyHughes.com just posted some info about Emily's taking next year off to concentrate on skating, but they seem to equivocate about it: Quote: Breaking News May 12th, 2009 Unconfirmed reports have surfaced indicating Emily will be taking time off from college at Harvard University to focus on the upcoming figure skating season. Emilyhughes.com has learned that there are definite considerations for this prospect and numerous alternatives are presently being analyzed and discussed by Emily and her team. As anyone can imagine, formulating such a plan will take some time and effort. Check back often because, once final decisions have been made, you can expect a personal blog straight from Emily insuring all information is correct. "Unconfirmed reports"? Well, goodness, the information came straight from Emily herself -- she stated it in the Harvard video! How much more confirmation do you need that Emily stating something on videotape? Well, whatever decision she makes, I just hope that fans will get to see more of her.
