1st airplane ride was in freshman year of high school - marching band trip to washington D.C. , saw about 3 rooms of the white house on public tour (this was when Clinton was president)
I met Naomi Nari Nam when she performed at my now former rink back in 2000 soon after she finished 8th at Nationals
got to sit close to the stage at a Wierd Al concert - gr8 view

Sweet. How was the white house?

When I was also a freshman in high school, there was this kid on our football team. We were horrible, something like 0-5. After a game in the tiny town of Mondovi, WI, in which we lost something like 24-0, he let out his hatred and frustration for us. My friends and him were arguing for about 20 minutes before the kid let all of his frustration out. He said that he knew the combonation to his dad's safe and that he was going to bring a gun to school and shoot a bunch of people, including me. He called a black student and a Mexican student racial slurs, so we all hated him even more. Everyone doesn't like him because he doesn't have respect for anyone. He hates everyone. He wants to fight me, but I refuse to because I consider myself a good kid and I don't want to get suspended. I didn't ever mention this in the letter to Emily.

I once thought that the green, spicy wasabi stuff that you put on sushi was green tea ice cream.

Worst green tea ice cream. Ever.

When I was 16 years old my parents took me and my brother and sister took us to this skating clinic called Snapple Skate with the Stars. We went their because Tara Lipinski was one of the hosts of this clinic and since 1995 Tara had been my favorite skater and she still is. So, we there and it was fun. But while we were eating lunch in our car I turned around and saw Tara sitting outside eating with a few friends. I got all excited and mom decided to go out and see if we could get pictures with her. Tara agreed to it and she talked with us for like 15 to 20 minutes and it was great. Tara was super sweet and I will never forget that day! It was amazing. Tara is great and she is still my favorite skater of all time.

that's pretty cool. I went to Washington D.C for a class trip in 8th grade and we saw a lot of cool things but we didn't go in the White House. I think that would have been cool if we had though. But Washington was great without it.
