Administrator Posts: 3,003 Group: Admin Member #1 Joined: October 31, 2006	Hi everyone, I just want to take a minute to update everyone on some recent changes I've made to the forum. As I'm sure you've all already noticed, I changed the skin and banner a few days ago. I wanted to get further away from the default InvisionFree blue. Judith was once again nice enough to provide us with a beautiful new banner. Thank you Judith. I've also decided to disable guests from viewing the forum. Now, anyone who is not logged in will be brought to a screen showing our banner and message prompting them to either log in or create an account. If you log out and refresh your screen, you'll see what I mean. We've consistently had a high rate of guests browsing the forum, but our registration rate has remained low. Hopefully this measure, will encourage our guests to register and join in. As I'm typing this I see we already have a brand new member. Comments/criticisms and suggestions are always welcome. See you in the forum.

But it could help! No matter what, don't forget that it is always quality and not quantity. Thanks for making this forum, Evil!

I can't think of a better way to encourage the guests to join and post. Anybody who was visiting this site frequently and is now scared off, was probably never going to join anyway. And anybody who wants to check out this site is going to have to create an account to do so. If you take the time to register, you might as well make a post or two.

If you search "Emily Hughes Forum" on Google you'll see we're finally listed on the first page. And I want the Google spiders to be able to continue to access the site. So, guests can now see the forum again.

It'll show up as the last entry on page 1 and the first three on page 2. Without the quotes, it will appear in the middle of page 8. We should be moving up both lists as time go on. At least I don't. =P I agree with imnamerican though. This is one of the best communities I've been at.
