A lot of medical breakthroughs were found by accident or by mistake. This might be another one of them. A scientist was using cancer cells to test a compound but she accidentally used too much of the compound and wound up killing the cells. Wow...that's amazing! We humans get so lucky sometimes
I just hope we're actually getting closer to a "cure" rather than discovering another temporary drug that will ultimately become useless once evolution kicks in again...:( |
