Her favorite woman skater? Male skater? How thick are your muscular thighs? Dogs or cats?? If you could back in time...to when? Do you view Sarah now as a success or less than that...?? Explore China or Russia? Coffee or tea? Books or music. Jazz or Opera. Do you like ballet? Do you dream at night? Have you/Do you ever dreamed to when your kids are/were grown? Do you want to coach someday? Do you want to CHANGE the world? How? If u could cure any disease...what would it be?? Would you want to live to 110? Do you like sushi? There's a fake Emily Hughes Diary site on the Web. Do you plan to sue them? I hope you do...i thot it was real... Do you like to fly or are you somewhat nervous like me? *** OK pretty crazy questions but I'd love to ask her these...

But even a 15-minute date looking into her eyes and sharing a milkshake would be a dream for some of us guys!! But I'm surprised how many people find Emily unattractive. I've read posts all over the place from both men & women saying she's 'fat', 'unattractive', etc. And at a couple of sites, some people have been thrown OFF the board because their criticisms and what seemed like hate never seemed to stop. There's one person on the SOI board that has made Emily-bashing her life's calling...that's too bad. Emily is a nice private person that doesn't deserve such attacks. If someone doesn't care for her skating that's one thing but to attack her person or character is something else. Emily is sweet and private and if you like her be careful not to tell everyone because you can't 'cast pearls before swine.' At some boards if I said, "I like IRINA Slutskaya" (or any other skater) some [non-skate] fans would make vulgar remarks about Irina, or me, etc. **I am sure Emily is honored that you have a crush on her...** BTW I am a fan of IRINA and a 'friend' of mine met her and knows her. I thot her skating was great--up until I saw Emily. I was hoping Irina would win Gold in Turin as she has gone thru some much pesonally and professionally. I think she is a decent, sweet person and I even wrote a couple of reviews for one of her fansites a few years ago.... ...but Emily is a dream--like a dream from the past...to me she is magical.... I hope she didn't get harassed by any hockey fans... fanofgold: I bet you have seen the Michelle Kwan Forums? Sounds like you are describing them. I mentioned it in my pictures thread... there's so many negative people there, saying absolutely horrible things I won't repeat - once I posted about them, using the term "negative nancies" to describe them - and I got a warning from a moderator for THAT. In the meantime these people go on and on with their insults, and the mods don't stop it. MKForum is absolutely useless, because of how much negativity there is, but mainly because the mods do nothing to stop it, and actually encourage it by banning anyone who complains. Anyway, the strength of any forum depends on the wisdom of its moderators. Hopefully that will be the case here!

There are a LOT more amazing people there than the negative ones, I promise. There are probably about the same amount of people who do like Emily that don't...they just don't get noticed. Like me! I mean, I'm here, right? (btw, this happens on a lot of fan sites - there's been TONS of bashing/negativity towards Michelle, Evan, Kimmie, Johnny, fill in the blank and I bet it's there. Sad, but true.) Anyway, I hope we get to see the Q&A! I really like hearing what the skaters have to say. Too bad about the weather.

The fact is, there are far too many bad seeds on that forum, and the moderators defend them by default. It's impossible to make any thread about Emily, Sasha, Sarah, etc without it being overrun by horrible nasty comments. Even if you block them all, you will still see their comments in the replies. To me, the forum is completely useless because of this. You go there to talk about positive things, and every single time those people just drag you right down, and if you protest, the majority complaint system makes sure that YOU are the one the mods go after. Anyway, I don't want to talk about MKF anymore. As for Emily, I think she's the hottest skater out there. (In terms of appearance I mean.) Am I allowed to say that? LOL. But mainly I like her cause of her amazingly positive attitude. Watching her always makes me happy. I felt that way about Sarah too, but she gave it up shortly after her OGM. I'm glad Emily stepped up to take her place!

Not surprising... but it looks like their board just "died", no loss then? Heh. There's some other popular skating board that makes you pay $$$. I wonder what that one is like... Anyway, I'd rather not have to pay money to talk about skating. So, hopefully we can get a lot more people on here. I just hope JZ can deal with all the "competition"...
