Novice Posts: 123 Group: Members Member #44 Joined: January 30, 2007	I found out Sasha was coming to my city (supposedly) and Emily was not, and decided not to go. Guess that shows where my loyalties lie now? Actually, I really prefer competitions. Plus I'm not too interested in the other people there... (just checked the list again, Angela Nikodinov isn't coming here either, oh well.) As for Sasha - when I JUST got into Cincinnati the night before Campbells Cup, and I was walking to the hotel, Sasha & her friend walked right past me on the street. I was too shocked to say anything or ask for a pic.

Novice Posts: 177 Group: Members Member #16 Joined: November 2, 2006	That has happened to me too--I met the head coaches for the DALLAS COWBOYS and the OAKLAND RAIDERS and met Jim Plunkett at a hotel. I didn't get any autographs. I did get a RAIDERS Media book which I later sold. I also met a couple of members of LOS LOBOS and the percussionist for SANTANA. I didn't even think about an autograph.... A friend of mine once waited [Village Inn] on BONO in 1985 when she was a waitress. U-2 wasn't very big back then but her husband was in a Christian rock band and she told Bono--"You look familiar from somewhere..." When she heard his accent, she knew. She got an autograph and he told her to please don't let anyone know who he was. He used to come into this place about once a month on weekends according to her...and he told her he went to a different church every time he was here... When U-2 played here in the mid-90s? Bono would take long walks by himself and often fans would follow him. He would give them an autograph and ask them to let him go wherever he wanted...not to follow him... I once had lunch with a Dallas Cowboy player--a friend invited me to lunch and when I got to the restaurant he introduced me to Tony Hill. I did get his autograph. He was a quiet guy--not what I thot a pro player would act like.
