A few years ago as part of a fundraising they auctioned a date with MONICA SELES. It included meeting WTA players, etc at brunch, practice w/MS, a private tea later w/ Monica, then front row seats to her celebrity match, etc. and then I think dinner with her, her coach and tournament officials and other celebs.
The winning bid as I recall was $1500 and it included lots of autographed goodies and tons of pics w/ Monica. The win was a lady and the $$ went to charity.
I think that lady got agreat deal!!!

If Emmie did one of these, I think a couple grand would be a good price. And this is from someone who makes well under 20K.

Anyway what would YOU pay for a lunch w/ EH or what 4 dinner date???????

I'd love to skate w/ her--just us holding handsand then if she'd jump into my arms.. wow I'd have a HEART ATTACK!!

weeeeeell... if we were talking in a realistic sense, I'd pay little to nothing. In my opinion if you have to pay somebody to be with you it ain't worth it.

But if you must put a price on a moment like this I'd have to go with Mastercard's "Priceless".

I just don't think the average guy can go up to Monica Seles and ask her to lunch. She has dated a multi-BILLIONAIRE Microsoft geek Paul Allen. His money, yacht, plane, etc helps alot. A person can have a great personality and great heart but w/'celebs' almost none of us have a chance w/o Divine intervention, and even w/ that things would still be doubtful....

That's why there are so many divorces. If she went for somebody with a great personality and a big heart like me, things would be a lot better.

I see what you're both saying, but my answer is still the same.

The divorce rate among 'celebs' is high, not so much because they typically only date wealthy and/or high class people, but because they themselves place SO much value on those attributes. It's a poor foundation to build a relationship on and will only last if there is some deeper connections between the two personallities.

Though that doesn't really matter in this situation because I wouldn't mark Emily as a stereotypical celebrity.

I agree w/ you and JZ. I think JZ maybe has a great chance at getting Emily's attention. While I would love Emily w/ every drop of my blood, I have no chance...even if met her.
I had a 'dream' a vision--a flashback which I've written about. Very bizarre coincidences, winks, feelings, etc etc, but most likely Emily will meet some hockey stud or maybe a clean, scholarly guy, hopefully a wholesome kid with a good heart. Whoever it be, he'll be one of the luckiest guys who ever walked upon the face of this cursed planet.

I think this is funny.... :) I like that thought. I too feel money is a tool and if it was meant to be I'd pay any price to reach her heart. Emily is so unique she's almost too good to be true...

Thank you, fanofgold. It means a lot. I like Emily a lot and would love to be with her. One person at my school said that me and Katy Taylor would be perfect for each other because we both can't talk. Of course I quickly went to Katy's defense.

I agree with you here. But I do agree that Emily isn't in the class with these people. But I really wouldn't pay all that much to have lunch or dinner with her definately not more than maybe two hundred dollars. I would pay to do that with anyone. I wouldn't even do that for Clay Aiken as much as I love him if I am meant to meet him it will happen without me forking over a bunch of money.

When I put this subject up I was serious, but I had a smile too. Remember, the $$ would go to charity. Also this would happen under the best circumstances, meaning that you are at your best financially--I never seem to get there cause my car develops problems out of the blue. Buicks from the early 90s STINK!
Anyway the point isn't 'paying' to be with someone--that is what hookers and escorts are for.

Almost anyone can be bought for a price. It's just that if you could bid to have a date or even a day with that person: what would you pay?
I think the Seles day winner got a bargain--lessons, lunch, autographs, special seats, dinner and more. $1500 won it.
I think Emily is worth more if it included all this.
MONICA has done this "lunch-dinner" thing bid a couple of times and I think she's also done a raffle or contest where some lucky winner got seats, gifts, autogs, and practice and lunch for free!
Anyway FATE always trumps Money. It is amazing how money finds people or people with $$ go off with bums and losers too--not just rich losers.
