It seems every school EH applied to has accepted her! She's smart, bright, a star, a champ, and has lots of $$--sort of-- [Sarah is a millionaire]. I hope she will make a good decision and hope God guides her. Anyway there's info on hersite... |

*Sigh* Might be one of those perks of being an international-caliber athlete =P Actually, I do know someone who was accepted into every school he applied to. Only thing is, he applied to only one school... Congrats! It's really hard to go wrong with 5 Ivy acceptances =) |

Congrats Emily. I barely got into a Community College, so she is much smarter than me. There's no question about that. |

Congratulations Emily! I can't say I'm hugely surprised after reading about the grades she gets. It'll be interesting to see where she goes and what she ends up studying. |

Sarah is a millionaire? Might I ask how? I don't recall her doing any endorsements, and surely SOI/COI can't pay that? |

It was reported in many places that SOI payed SH a million dollars for her 54+ appearances during her 2005 Tour. In many boards some said she was paid too much, etc. Also Sarah did lots of endorsements after the Olympics. An Olympic Gold will bring in about $10 million a year for females according to the skating magazines. SH is surely a millionaire [maybe multi- ] unless she's blown her money which I doubt... |

I have watched the Home with the Hughes one before. Those are some nasty comments people wrote about it. |

Heh, I hadn't seen that Home with the Hughes clip before. It was rather cheesy and exaggerated but in a cute and funny way. |

Now that [skate] season has ended pretty much, wonder what new news @ Emily. She'll have a Senior Prom [who is lucky date], Graduate, choose a college I guess, do some training??, travel?, and have some free time to read, enjoy, and dream. Of course we all wish she'd dream of us. I guess all Emily is is a dream, a wisp of my imagination. May G-d bless & guide her as she moves on in her life. She and Sarah are two really great people [i think] and I hope they will be role models for all young skaters and people in general.... |
