Olympian Posts: 2,669 Group: Global Moderator Member #6 Joined: October 31, 2006	i beleive that while follwing Sarah we know that her and Em's mother is a survivor of breast cancer. i can identify with charities focusing on finding a cure - when i was 6 my grandmother died of breast cancer. anyways i came across this just now on USFSA. if anybody here - Evil, Judith, happen to get skating magazine i would be interested in what the full article says here's a pic off of USFSA's site: Amy Hughes still remembers the moment, 10 years ago, when she hit rock bottom. “They said I had breast cancer, stage III,” she said. “It had spread to my lymph nodes. I didn't know anybody who had that because once that happens, well, that's usually it. “I said, ‘Who is going to take care of my children?' And there was a nurse there, I'll never forget, who just said, ‘You are.' And from then on, my state of mind was, ‘I'm going to do it.'” Read all about how Amy Hughes defeated breast cancer and what she and her family are doing to raise awareness about the disease in the October issue of SKATING.
