New Arrival

Greetings,

I'm the newest member of this forum and I'm just getting used to the board functions and properties here. It was clear how to make a post here in this section with an obvious button, but I'm still having difficulty finding the 'new post' buttons to start a new active topic outside of the topics accessible to guests (I did officially register).

Also, I am for some reason unable to access the full text of any of the articles listed in the newsletter archive. Whenever I click on the 'read more' link it takes me to an error page where I am told that I am not allowed access to the full article. This is the case with every single article in the newsletter archive. I can't even read about the Code of Malatora. Do you have to be a member of the board for a certain length of time in order to earn authorization to view the full texts of the links?

Thank you for your help,
cmysticism

We have a system of forum permissions, which controls which user groups can post, reply, and even see which sections of our forum.  It keeps things from getting cluttered.  As a member of our "Visitor" group, you have the power to create new topics and post replies in all forums and sub-forums within the Public Reception Area.

The Free Guest Zone section is a holder for several sub-forums.  Posting is allowed in all sub-forums under this section, but not in the top-level section itself.  Again, this is to reduce clutter and keep everything in the right place.

The Posted Image and Posted Image buttons are only visible in areas that allow posting.

The newsletters were originally meant for our citizens, who have full access to this entire message board.  As a non-citizen of our nation, you cannot see the topics that those links go to, because they are hidden within private "FedCom-only" areas of this forum.

The Code of Malatora is visible in this wiki article.  A great deal of information about our nation and who we are can be found in the associated articles.
