There are set guidelines for which all members are to act under. This following message will include everything that members need to know. Board Rules ---------------------------------------------------------------- Important Notice: If you register multiple accounts, your double account will be deleted and you will receive a warning. Offensive names that are registered are put under certain suspicion. The administration has the right to change any and all offensive names that are registered. 1) No spam. "Spam" means Stupid Pointless Annoying Messages. Basically, spam is posts such as one word posts (such as "cool" or "lol"), something having no relation to the topic (such as posting in a topic about football and saying "Don't you like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches? I do!") making topics that are clones of another (if there is a topic made recently talking about a certain subject, don't make another topic talking about the same subject!) This is not allowed and your posts/topic will immediately be deleted if you go on with it! Double-posting is another form of spam, if you forgot to say something in a post, edit your last post, don't post a new one. You can spam inside of our chit-chat forum, but this is the only place spam is tolerated. 2) No flaming. This is an act of insulting another member rather harshly, otherwise known as going "out of bounds" with another person. This is certainly not allowed! If this act is committed, you can expect to receive a warning or even worse punishment. 3) Please refrain from necroposting if you can help it. Necroposting is reviving a topic that has been dead for over a one month period. You may revive topics if you feel that discussion on this matter is important, but please don't kick the same topic up twice if no one seems to have any interest in discussing this issue. Moderators will warn you if we feel you are unnecessarily bumping topics. Necroposted topics will not necessarily be locked automatically. 4) In the Design forum you may only make one topic labeled with your name and that is where all custom design creations made by you will go e.g. A member named FEF makes a topic called "FEF" in the design forum and sub-titles it "My Stuff". FEF will be allowed to put his custom creations in that topic from now on and nowhere else! 5) There will only be one topic in the design forum from which you can make a design request from somebody. Requesting things outside of designated topic will be counted as spam. Only permitted if a member allows requests in their topic. 6) Plagiarism is not tolerated here at FEFF. Anyone found showing the work of another in an art thread, avatar, signature, post, and anywhere else you can think of needs permission from the creator. If one doesn’t comply and is found, you will be banned. 7) No harassing other members through Personal Messaging, E-Mail's or any other method such as Instant Messaging. This can result in a warning or more severe punishment, depending on how long and how harshly done. 8) No Trolling. Trolling is the act of purposely trying to start a fight, or to make a comment that will start trouble. This will not be tolerated, and punishment will occur if this happens. 9) With your signature, please do NOT put long animations or images that exceed a good size limit. Please be respectful of other users who may not have fast internet connections! This hurts the overall loading time of the page and your signature will be clipped if it goes out of bounds. If people need to scroll down an entire page because of your signature, it will be clipped. People come on forums to discuss things and post, not scroll through huge signatures. 10) DO NOT ASK FOR ILLEGAL ROMs, WAREZ, MP3s, etc! This goes against the rules of ZetaBoards and will not be tolerated here. You will receive a warning or possibly a ban if you decide to ignore this rule! 11) In the Gaming forum, only discuss video games that are not related to the Fire Emblem series! If you want to discuss Fire Emblem, please do so in the other boards, in this one you can discuss all others. 12) In the media forum, do not be disrespectful of others' opinions! There's no reason to have any "Rap sucks!" etcetera, topics created and it won't be tolerated. Please be respectful of unique tastes. 13) In the Fan Fiction forum, no pointless fan fiction or anything that does not have any detail in it (such as fan fictions with only 4 or less words), there are also to be no interactive stories! Interactive stories can be done through the Role-Playing Area. 14) Role-playing: See role-playing boards for rules regarding role-playing. 15) Do NOT log onto Fire Emblem Fusion with a proxy. If you're caught on a proxy, your account will be banned and that proxy will be banned. We know how to catch proxies, so don't bother using them. If you're on a proxy, you're obviously up to no good. 16) Unmarked 'Spoilers', regarding unreleased material, will not be tolerated here. Spoilers are revealing things about the plot, or story, of any new movie, game, or book. Once a month has passed since the initial release of any movie, game, or book, marking spoilers becomes unnecessary.
