Any fighter is replacable, Merlinus is not. Simple.

Fighting is needed. Merlinus is not. Simple. Merlinus can't be replaced, but if he's not needed what good does it do?

"Not necessary" is a weak argument. The only "necessary" unit is the main lord, but that doesn't automatically make the main lord the best unit in the game (I.E., how NO ONE put Ephraim/Eirika as number one). "Not necessary" applies to almost every unit, I don't need Franz either...

You two can debate it out, but I will NOT stand by while "not necessary" is an argument.
