He's going to be doubled a million times because he's holding Roy, his accuracy will plummet and he'll end up very, very dead. You're going to pass chests on the way to the end of the stage, and you can just have her stop off and pick them up. If you're reaching for an outlying one, then you'll need an escort or two. A 3rd thief is un-nessisary, and pointless. I will not argue against Chad. Astol, however, is not as good as Cath. Asthol may have higher defenses than the other thieves...but thieves aren't meant to have buff defenses. Asthol's supports are all in stiff competition, especially, for instance, Lilina. The other thing I'd like to point out is that with his speed growth severely lacking compared to Chad and Cath, they'll have long maxed speed before him, especially Chad, and Cath is just much prettier than him anyways. Since stealing relies on speed, you're going to want these kids with the higher speed growth than him. Asthol has more survivability, but a thief's job is to steal and to open chests/doors. All three can open chests and doors, but Cath and Chad's higher speeds will allow them work their stealing magic. Also, as a result of his lower luck and lower speed, he'll have lower evasion than the other two, and thus will be getting hit more often than them. His HP and defense lead will mean nothing if he's hit more than his two counterparts. So no. I'll not have Asthol running around. I'll have Chad and Cass, thank you very much.
