Coxian Posts: 3,432 Group: Veteran Member #308 Joined: July 8, 2005	Each debater picks a team of 8 units and debates using them, instead of just picking one unit. I think this will capture the essence of Fire Emblem more than just debating one unit because you don't just USE one unit in the game. So here, you debate a team. Now, obviously, we'd have to allow overlapping units. It'd be unfair for one person to be like "Titania, Oscar, Kieran, Ike, Boyd, blah blah blah" so multiple people can get the same units and, at the same time, there will be a tier cap. Meaning... Top Tier: 2 High Tier: 3 Upper Mid Tier: 3 Lower Mid Tier: 2 Low and Bottom Tier: 1 You must have this many from each tier. You can pick whichever units you want from the tiers. The debate will be using these units as center characters, your main ones, and on chapters where one of your characters is not available, you may use a different one for filler. (If you don't pick Oscar as on your team, you can still say that you use him for the first few chapters. However, once a chosen unit is on your team, you may not replace him or her. Consider this a sign up topic as well. If we can get enough people in on this, I think it would be awesome. EDIT: Also, if you don't choose Ike, that means that once you get your two chosen High Tiers on your team, Ike is b7 from combat. He must either be rescued or stay in the back but you can't put him in a position to take counters and you certainly can't have him attack. Obviously, it's a disadvantage to not pick Ike, but if you REALLY want to use different High Tiers... EDIT2: Changed the amount of units.
