I would suggest buying something useful like elixirs or staves. Or just plain weapons.

Bitch, that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard in my life. You can afford to buy all the Iron/Steel weapons you need AND forge a weapon every chapter. You never need to buy Elixers and the only staff worth buying is Physic, but you can't buy that, so it's not worth it. You might have to buy one Mend Staff at some point.

Actually, until Caineghis gives you the 20k in whatever chapter he gives you it, you have like no money and buying forged weapons leaves you broke.
