Haha. Also, when adding up the Lyn Mode funds, I get: Hard Mode: 43760 Normal Mode: 43020 740G difference, and then you get an extra Iron Sword in Normal for 460G, so you have 1100G more if you play Normal Mode. If the only rank you care about is funds and that extra ~1k makes a difference on whether you can afford to use the Knight Crest, Angelic Robe and/or Energy Ring, then Lyn Normal is a viable option (though the tutorial is gay). I know for a fact that using only one of these will usually net you an A in funds as long as you don't use the others (and obviously don't use Short Bow/Armorslayer/Lancereaver etc), so if this 1k makes enough of a difference and you can use two of them now, Also Vincent you did some awesome work here.
It's pretty hard to estimate how you're going to do throughout Ch18-Ch32 and you also don't have Ninian (who has the rings AND move again, which is sex) and you don't have more than one flier (which is required to keep the ring effect if you're into that, but also helps a lot with rescue chains to make maximum use of the arena). I'd say Four Fanged Offense Linus makes the best chapter for some arena abuse if any: it's the last real counting arena, so you should know how you're doing, you have Ninian in full glory, you have access to not one but three fliers, you can bring a hell lot of more people than in PoB (including Isadora as an extra mounted unit to rescue) and you have better unit flexibility in general, because in PoB you need everything you got against these pirates, while FFO Linus is a pretty easy chapter. |
