Posts: 44 Group: FEFFer Member #1,476 Joined: September 22, 2007	Leikan is and sephrain both caused the events of the game, not Leikan himself, though his role was more obvious, and was known for much longer. Though in the end Leikan was just a pawn. Sephrain/Lehran convinced Ashera to destroy Tellius because he selfishly wanted to die. This is because he was blessed by Ashera to gain immense longetivity, and had been living for at least 700+ years. Through all this, he has seen great bloodshed and hatred. Being a branded, he was an outcast, and he could only see hatred in the lives of the denziens of Tellius. He wants his enternal sufferage to end. That's when he starts plotting. He belives that the world is too flawed to continue to exist, and so he sets his carefully laid plan into motion. He tells Ashnard of the medallion, and corrupts the daien king, filling his mind with visions of a more perfect world, but, in reality, he would only destroy it by awakening the goddess. When his first plan fails, he starts urging the senators to betray the empress subtilly. He fans the flames of war, attempting to awaken the goddes with a cross continentlal war, so that the death of himself and all the scorned him will be sure, and without hesitation, but Miciah and Sanaki interfier with the galdr of release, and oppose the goddes herself. Once you finnally reach him though, he tells you that he has sealed the door to the goddess with magic the will only be broken with his death. He has won. He wants to die. If you don't kill him, the Ashera will destroy everything, and if you do, he will ghet what he wants. If you recruit him though, he realizes the gravity of choices, and weighs them against the lives of many. When he snaps out of his desire to die he then attempts to help make repairations for his mistakes. So basicly: Sephrain was shunned Lehran want to die, and drag everyone else down with him Lehran caused FE9 Lehran caused FE10 Lehran wins no matter what Leikan was simply a pawn to Lehran.
