Even if you didn't train Thany you'd still have Miledy. :] Not their movement hindering tactics as much as their own flexibility. Plus, you basically have to set up kills for Bors to be worth anything, and that early on when everything carries an axe. Barth manages to be about as inaccurate as WTD'ed Bors is...when he has neutral weapon triangle. He is lopsided to the point where he cannot really tank very well anymore because things just double him instead for double damage, and armies like to have mages with them that do a bunch of damage on his worst Res in the game. Wendy's final averages are slightly better than Bors, but the amount of trouble for it isn't worth it. Rest assured that taking down Leygance with the triangle attack is much more tedious than using the Armorslayer.
