If you're lucky, the Tower of Valni repeatedly spawns monsters that drop runeswords and spears which are very useful and $$$ when sold. Also the characters tend to raise alot more stats compared to FE7 but maybe that's just me No, you're right. That's another thing: on average, units gained ~20% more in total growths compared to the average FE7 unit. That also makes it a bit easier.
