My favorite thing about debating Fire Emblem 9 is that what you're arguing, what you're trying to prove, actually holds significant ground in that, should you select Fixed Growth mode, it's not up to chance - Ike will have good defense, Rolf and Mia will suck, Marcia's stats will shoot up. That said, stat averages are important. The stats you got are but a statistic within the average, but they do not represent the whole. Rolf is pitiful. Not only are archers/snipers all around a bad class, in that they tend to be incapable of any sort of tanking or frontlining, due to not being able to counter at melee range, but Rolf comes underleveled. Coming underleveled is always a bad thing. If you're good enough to counteract that, so be it. Jill and Marcia certainly are. Rolf and Mia are subpar, even without considering the fact that they require extra training, experience and babying.
