Laura is a bunch of bullshit because she has to be a staff user that's actually harder to level up - WTF - than almost every first and second tier beorc you get unless you succumb to ridiculous favoritism that hurts the rest of the Dawn Brigade, so as she's naturally going to trail forever in level she's naturally going to trail in stats to a lot of people, and her junk caps sure aren't helping her out there. Her offense isn't ever going to be the least bit notable thanks to a weapon rank that isn't simply not that good after first promotion for her, but terrible, and that leaves her contributing nothing positively unique during all the chapters you can field her. No functions, no in-built supports with anyone else, nothing. "Laura is a stock pre-bishop priest. There is nothing really notable about her and she likely won't amount to anything besides a healer when you need one." mjemirzian nails it. Throwaway. Don't worry, smash, Laura's fieldable the entire game. It's just that she sucks. She doesn't have to fit into the Fiona/Leonardo/Meg and so forth echelon to be a waste of time.
