Whoa, close debate. Mekkah sort of seemed to go a different way with his last post than his other two posts, in that he no longer mentioned direct combat, but that was O.K., since his case was still strong nonetheless. Inui's last post also seemed to deviate a bit from his previous two; from what I could tell, a large portion of it dealt with weapons, and it didn't seem as solid as Mekkah's new case. At the very end, though, Mekkah sort of slacked off on his argument and seemed to say "lol the two are equal; you think one's better, and I think the other's better." I didn't like this. Mekkah was descriptive in his reasoning. Inui was less so, citing Seth as a "god" but not really elaborating. Inui did successfully defeat anti-EXP arguments for Seth, but Mekkah countered that nicely with the argument that Moulder actually gets the rest of the team to a higher level. I also noticed that Mekkah made an assumption about standards, and while Inui succesfully countered the logic of introducing such standards, I didn't really see what those assumptions had to do with either's case. I was confused by this whole exchange. I feel that Inui slightly won the first round, but Mekkah slightly won the second round and won the final round, so I'm giving the overall victory to Mekkah. Good debate. |
