Use a Vulnerary. TN to E21, END PEGGY. (You might as well give him a good levelup, he is sooo dead.) I believe it costs 3 for a mounted unit to move one space on a desert tile. For foot units it's 2 for 1 and mages (for whatever reason) can traverse unscaved. Correct me if I'm wrong? And for the record Riedrid is the only CotFTer in this battle that faced OK oh-so-long ago.
