I could just as easily go "Amelia's job is to uhhhhhhhhh (_everyone else_ can do all the fighting on their own)". Plus, Amelia is phail at combat by herself for a good period, and is climbing out of a pit when Rennac joins. Rennac hasn't built up any phail yet, and as long as he keeps picking, stealing and FoWTorching, he doesn't need to. Yeah, Amelia is better than herself. I suppose. Also, Eph route Saleh has staves, high chance of getting Excalibur/Ivaldi, and general haxness that being a Sage brings. I think even he is better than Amelia.
