Nuclear fallout had taken its toll on the enviorment. Plants died, oceans dried up, and the land looked like a desert from the last Resident Evil movie. The survivors, however, only fought more. Instead of rebuliding and taking this disaster as a lesson learnt, people began to act more violent each day. There were more acts of rape, vandalism, and murder than ever before. It seemed things would continue this way until humanity finally died out. And with the fallout still present, this did not seem like it would take very long. But twenty years later, a scientist named Reaver made a machine that neutralized most of the contamination in the air which allowed people to breath easier and plants and other wildlife to once again live. But before this could be finished, Reaver disappeared one day. No one knows where or why he vanished, but with humanities savior gone, it wasn't long before people went back to their old ways. Another twenty years passed, and not most of whats left of the human race has taking their petty fighting to a different level. Most people belong to some group or faction which has a central base & a leader to guide its followers. These different groups often fight with one another for various reasons, mostly which are supplies or land. Some, however, have had to under go some enhancments in order to survive the harsh world. But this is not something every faction can afford, so only the strongest can aquire this rare privilege. As of now there are only three major factions that have such a luxury(leaders are named first). *The Brotherhood* -Feez -Phantom Riku -Phantom Zero *The New Breed* -Soja -Crysta(second in command) -Sentenal -Blank *The Reapers* -Leon -Hakado -Writ -Linoud -HJ -Tiara Each has its own way of self modification. The New Breed uses genetic enhancments to give themselves super powers like in comic books(might also be the result of the fallout). The Brotherhood instead have reached the pinnacle of human advancment. In other words, they have become as strong as a person can get without any sort of modification. Basically they can do stuff like this or this but not to the same degree. The Reapers have outfitted their bodies with mechanical parts that replace various limbs and organs making them very fast and strong as they continue to make more and more improvements. Generally each group isn't very friendly with others though some alliances have been made. But some are bitter enemies. The Brotherhood and New Breed are not very welcoming to the other and have since become rivals. No one knows why but some say its because of a fight between the two leaders which turned into an all out war. The Reapers take a neutral stance in the matter as they are only interested in surviving and upgrading their mechanical bodies. This has caused them to be the strongest of the three major factions.
