Edit: Yeah. Leon usually tackles the awards, but he's been surprisingly quiet in the staff topic related to the winter awards. [/edit] I agree on the principle that one deserves a hard working "award" for working hard. In the end these awards are hardly worthy of our off-net lives. If we all knew each other's lives as well as we knew each other's FEFF activity then these awards would be a lot different than they are (just not winners/nominations, but the categories in general). I didn't vote Rin meanest because I don't see her as mean on FEFF (though honestly I don't know Rin well). I voted Yzarc because he likes to act like an asshole here. I can't speak for the others though. If I felt I was worthy of winning an award for something like offline work or other offline activities I would take part in offline awards. I'd rather see someone win an FEFF award because they've done something to in some way contribute to the forum, or at least be recognized on the forum for that award. With that said gratz on the win.. You certainly deserve something for your efforts, though I hardly see the award related to the reason, relevant. For the ~ Kovu Edited: Plus if this were an offline-working contest I'd have nominated Arden, not Blank. That guy is fucking nuts. 56 hours is nothing to him. |
