Despite this topic, my actions aren't really gonna change, just seemed like a fitting time to talk a little bit. Been here what was it... since Nov. 11th 2003? Long time, at least. I grew up in part in here, but here didn't grow up with me. Wait that's wrong, it just didn't grow the same way. This place used to be pretty cool to me but int he last 3 years or so the community shifted and I was just kinda left out of the loop since then. I've seen this forum from a multitude of sides, within the circle jerk (early days) and outside (these last few years). Member to ACP Mod, Advisor to random no-body. Screw it I'm being overly dramatic or some shit. My life's gone to crap in the last 8 months, and I can only hope I'll get out of it somehow when I go study abroad in Japan next year, like some sort of great escape, a life situation reset button. Of course there's many things like that I hope for but I don't do shit to actually try. Since I can remember in concerns with school work I've been dealing with a problem of combined procrastination and deadline anxiety. Basically, I try and use the deadline as a form of pressure to get my work done, and then the pressure ends up too high for me to operate under. So I don't do it, and once the deadline has passed, the pressure's gone but the motivation lingers, and I finally do get it done. Such things won't get me very far. Dammit, talking about irrelevant things again. FEFF isn't my community anymore, it's someone else's, there's nothing here but massive lame and the occasional semi-intelligent discussion about topics that frankly don't grasp me. I'll still probably hang out in the fanfiction section if only because I do not know of any other fiction writing places that aren't purely stand-alone. Though I wish I could break myself off completely, I don't see it happening. If anyone for some reason does want to associate with me in any way, you can find me over at FEP, text RPing.
