Using it on a unit like Oswin or Hector who will end up killing things by the time they cap stats is a waste. I would just give it to a unit with well rounded stats so they end up with good growths like Shinion without the prelevel or possibly crap starting stats. Or a pre-promo that is half decent would benefit as well. What would happen I wonder if i didn't use wallace on Lyn hard mode, then gave them to him as a level 12 knight...
