The entire process, literally. Psio was as well. Right? What went wrong? What mistakes were made that we shouldn't repeat? Sadly, I left for a bit right before it died and it died while I was away, so I wasn't around to help or watch what happened. What happened was that it never got to the main dish. We had plenty of involvement for the appetizers, leveing up, grindan like nubs with shit, learning which stats mattered more and then abusing them. Everytime, though, when it finally came to the player vs player stuff, the big guild on guild stuff, nothing came of it. Player against player, in that community where the RPG was central, caused a ridiculous amount of inter-participant stress and tension. I would have to consider any statistical (or even written) system be restrained primarily to participants vs faceless mooks and NPCs. For the actual death, well, enough people saw it wasn't gettin anywhere so we left, because the forum had nothing else. For that matter, what -does- FEFF have, other than the struggling remnants of a crumbling social group?
