No. There is easily a tier or two between them and Cain/Abel/Frey. Cain, Abel, and Frey have usefulness before those two join. Earlygame h4x is always good. They will join with level leads over Wolf and Sedgar as well as supports already building, and Cain and Abel support each other, which is Alan/Lance and Kent/Sain all over again; broken. Cain and Abel will have a C with each other and Frey will have a C with Marth when Wolf and Sedgar join. Growths don't matter that much. It's about how they translate into stats. Wolf and Sedgar will start off way worse than the three earlygame Cavaliers, then pass them statistically for a few chapters in the midgame, and then get surpassed in the lategame. 20/20 Frey HP: 52.4 STR: 22.3 MAG: 1.0 SKL: 28.0 (caps at 20/17) SPD: 25.0 (caps at 20/15) LCK: 19.1 DEF: 15.6 RES: 6.0 20/20 Abel HP: 48.7 STR: 23.2 MAG: 1 SKL: 28.0 (caps at 20/18) SPD: 25.0 (caps at 20/16) LCK: 11.5 DEF: 15.6 RES: 6.0 20/20 Cain HP: 52.5 STR: 22.3 MAG: 1 SKL: 27.0 SPD: 25.0 (caps at 20/18) LCK: 18.2 DEF: 15.6 RES: 6.0 20 Wolf HP: 49.2 STR: 23.0 MAG: 0 SKL: 20.45 SPD: 22.45 LCK: 13.5 DEF: 17.05 RES: 1 20 Sedgar HP: 50.4 STR: 21.2 MAG: 1 SKL: 24.05 SPD: 23.15 LCK: 7.7 DEF: 22.15 RES: 2.0 They are horrible by comparison. The Top Tier Paladin trio has much stronger averages due to the amount of levels they gain and their promotional gains. Unlike relying on powerful growths, they have a lot more levels to gain and promotional gains, meaning their guaranteed stats are much stronger. -Frey supports Marth, Paola (Palla), and Katua (Catria). All of them are mobile units, and all of them are actually good. -Abel supports Marth, Est, Paola, and Cain. All but Est are both good and mobile. -Cain supports Marth, Katua, Abel, and Est. All but East are both good and mobile. These supports are all convenient and all but Est are useful and practical. The Cain/Abel support is actually a two-way support. Katua has a two-way support with Cain and a two-way support with Frey. Paola has a two-way support with Abel and a two-way support with Frey. Katua has a one-way support with Marth. Sheeda (Shiida), another mobile character that has a two-way support with Marth rounds out this stupidly good team. Throw in Oguma (Ogma) with his one-way support with Sheeda and his two-way support with Navarre (Nabarl), Barts (Barst) and his one-way support with Oguma, Julian for thieving, Hardain for being good and having a one-way support with Marth, and Maric (Merric) with his one-way support with Marth, and you have an amazingly good team that supports each other like crazy, covers every area possible, and is composed of top/high tier units entirely. Wolf and Sedgar aren't even needed. -Wolf only has a one-way support with Hardain (Hardin). -Sedgar only has a one-way support with Hardain. While Hardain is most certainly a good unit, it's just one one-way support for each of them. That's pretty crappy, lol. Since Hardain is getting used almost all the time, I guess they can benefit from it and be pretty decent overall. However, they're not top tier. Not at all. Wow, I already know exactly how I'm going to rape hard mode in this game. Edited by Ema Skye, Mar 17 2009, 06:12 PM.
