Anyway, I got to chapter 2 and I've already shaved off a few turns and my levels are better overall, especially Azel and Deu, Azel having gotten past the swordfighter (he already had the Speed ring and he took the Skill ring by mistake, but what the hey), and Deu with that trick. But you're right - this is heavily dependent on abuse. FE5 seems similar in the abusive aspect, but I dunno, at least there's no level requirement. Thanks for the help.
