Whichever you do get, make sure you reformat the hard drive and reinstall the OS before doing anything else. Those are loaded with a ton of junkware and trials you're never going to use. Of course, if you KNOW anyone, you might rather want to get one built; that way you can have control over exactly what pieces of hardware go into your machine, and it will turn out less overall as opposed to a comparable name-brand model. Just be warned that quality video cards for laptops are expensive as fuck.
