If Israel attacked Iran now, it'd be justified. It would have been justified ages ago. Iran has stated publicly many times that they want Israel to be destroyed and that the Holocaust never happened. Fuck that. That's not tolerable. Every country with a sane leader should realise this. It isn't a matter of sane leaders or not. The whole sphere of people already know the Holocaust did occur, and there is no denying it. But when push comes to shove, I don't think the UN would matter, simply because the big players on the Security Council would be split themselves. If WWIII really did happen, my biggest concern is really either a Nuclear Fallout or the more likely case of the destruction of the UN. Though the UN is crap half the time, and it gets virtually all of its power just from its members, then something like this would cause that to occur. Really, the US needs to withdraw most of its world deployed troops, reorganize our military, and bunker down and get ready. I don't know about WWIII, but something big is coming. On the note of coming to Israels aid, I have a hard time figuring Obama out. He would either not do much, or may actually see this as an opportunity to crush people and leaders like those in Iran and create a sort of unity in the middle east. He's just that kind of guy, and they are the most dangerous or the best kind depending on what they do.
