It was nearly two years ago I played through this game I can't remember. ~ Kovu Ah, yes. D/P is infamous for its lack of fire type. Anyway, I also say Chimchar, because you'll want a fire type that's not Rapidash, well, at least I did, so I picked Chimchar. I'm also a big fan of Fighting type, so I picked Chimchar. You'll get a plenty of water and grass type later, and Inferape proved to be the most effective in-game anyway. Of course, no offense to Turtwig or Piplup fans.
