UN has been UNable in stopping any wars since the Korean war, and they took 3 years to stop Koreans from fighting. Speaking of Korean war, North Korea won't be able to do much, unless they launch an infantry attack against the South, for two reasons. A.) Having a Nuclear Bomb doesn't mean having a Nuclear Warhead. See, America, during World War II, had to drop the bomb on Japan, as opposed to shooting the missile over, because the States had a Nuclear Bomb, not a Warhead. It takes decades for any country, even with foreign support, to make a Nuclear Bomb compact enough to fit onto a missile, and stable enough not to blow up during the launch. So even with their Intercontinental Missiles and Nuclear Bomb, out of six they claim to have, they'll waste 2 - 3 in testing, sell 1 - 2 to Iran, and attempt to shoot the rest, and probably fail, making the bomb explode on their poor little butt. B.) North Korea's support has dried. They won't be able to advance any further. South Korean president, as much as I hate him, made a smart choice in telling North Koreans to get their own food. He told North Koreans that South Koreans won't support their lazy butt if they didn't stop making Nuclear Bomb, and unlike the last president, South Korea's new president actually stopped giving aids -not the STD, haha.- to North Korea. China also hates North Korea now, so no support there. North Korea's food line has dried. Their 35% of population that's farming will soon die out from oppressive government, and Kim Chong Il will have no choice but to surrender. Also, has anyone ever given a thought about Pakistan and India? I think they have a potential to starting World War III, or at least a war big enough that the world will pay attention to, because let's face it, what nation besides the States pay attention to the "WAR ON TERRORISM, OH SO SCARY" anymore? Correct me if I'm wrong.
