When you can't make them see the light, make them feel the heat.

It appears the blood of the rogues and exiles still plagues the intelligence of the people of Yied to this day. My complain was one of transparency, not of profiteering. As I said, both those of Miletos and Grandbell are mere dogs, who happen to be a convenient source of income. I don't care if you extract funds from either side. But iIf Yied is to open their borders to all sides equally, and charge equally, and even allow defending parties to attempt to out bid their aggressors, shouldn't it then follow that all of your customers must openly declare what route they are going to use? My complaint was directed at the manner in which Arden of Miletos requested his passage through your country. It was referred to a secret, though now he has revealed it. If the principles of your neutrality is to treat both sides equally and fairly, then one must reject under the table deals, as what seemed to have been going on, before I brought it to light. He has revealed his plans now, so I currently do not have any complaints, but now my warning simply applies to future deals. If you are going to be neutral, stick to your principles, or terrible things may befall your country. -Prince Reach Sento Thracia |
