If you don't have anything to add to the discussion, don't post at all. Consider this a general warning. That said, I've resigned myself to the role of complaining minority. If I had to choose either-or, sure, you could call me a far-right conservative. But on a more gradated spectrum, I'm only slightly right. I'm of the mind that all of the left's crying about how mean we're being to Obama is hypocrisy in its boldest. Except now they can play the race card when we're complaining. I don't care if he's the first "black" President we've "freely elected." Fact of the matter is that he's going to get the same kind of treatment in criticism, complaining, and even mean-spirited joking from the opposing side. The latter just going to get demonized and called down on CNN and NBC as 'racially driven.' The decisions so far don't really make me happy, but they don't make me angry either. Except for the spending. That is ridiculous, far more than W. did in his eight years combined. And it's only been one year? Still, it's only been several months. I understand that these changes take time to occur. I'll wait a year, maybe two, then decide where we're headed from there.
