He was still stuck where he was last time which caused Blank to shake his head in disbelief. "Unbelievable.'' Blank said. "I truly hope Soja and Crysta fared better then this.'' Little did he know he was wrong. Blank was the only member of The New Breed left standing. The rest were incapacitated. As Blank was figuring out what to do next, his enemies were getting closer to re-grouping. Feez was almost finished recovering, PZ was looking for Blank, and PR was looking for his team mates. But they were both heading in the same direction which is also where Feez happend to be resting. Once PR and PZ converged on this central location, there were mixed feelings. PR was relieved he finally found Feez and PZ, but PZ was not very satisfied. He wanted to find Blank, not them. "Man, I've been lookin' all over this dump for you guys. You won't believe what just happend to me. I royally trashed Soja back at that fortress. It was awesome. You guys shoulda been there.'' PR said. He was pretty proud of him self. "Good for you, but I'm afraid I have some bad news.'' PZ said. "I lost the girl.'' ''... Fuck.'' Feez said. ''What happend?" "Blank. He managed to take her while I was distracted. But don't worry. Once I find and kill him, I'll get the target back.'' PZ then noticed Feez's wounds. ''Are you okay? You look like you just hit with the biggest bomb in history.'' "Heh, I might as well have.'' Feez said. ''But I'm fine. Give me a few more minutes, and we all can look for the girl.'' "Fuck. I hate waiting. I just wanna get this shit over with. This town is seriously startin' to piss me off.'' PR said taking a seat on top a boulder. "We don't know how many of The New Breed are left. It would be best if we all traveled together.'' PZ told PR. "Well, I took care of Soja.'' PR replied. "I got Sentenal and Crysta.'' Feez added. "Then that would leave only our target, Blank.'' PZ said. ''Do you think he knows this?" "I don't know.'' Feez said as he got up. ''Why don't we ask him when we see him?" "Have you fully recovered?" PZ asked Feez. "Yeah, I'm fine. Lets go finish what we started.'' "About damn time.'' PR said as he quickly rose up. "This'll be easy with all three of us jumping that spineless faggot.'' "Don't underestimate him.'' PZ said. ''Hes a formidable opponent and highly intelligent as well. I assume this will be a challenge even if we out number him. Don't let your guard down.'' "Whatever. I'll tear him apart in no time at all. Lets just get going.'' PR replied. "Do you have any idea where he went?" Feez asked PZ. "I think he is at the enterance waiting for the rest of The New Breed. That is where we will most likely find him.'' "Okay. Then lets go, guys. We can finally finish this crap job and get the hell out of here.'' Feez said. The Brotherhood, now together again and in perfect condition, headed for their destination, the town gates where they hoped to find Blank and their target, Kazyen. With the rest of The New Breed down, the task of protecting Kazyen fell on Blank's shoulders alone. He would recieve no help, no support from the rest. It was him against The Brotherhood. The odds were against him, but Blank was very capable. When the rest of The New Breed were absent, Blank fully realized this. He got ready for the arrivial of his enemies, not intending on failing here. Meanwhile, in the heart of the fortress, HI-alchemist was busy himself. He was talking to a very tall, very menacing looking robot. This robot, in fact, was the leader of The Reapers, Leon, with the rest of them present as well. ''T-the Brotherhood... hass t-taken the... h-hostage and are... currently f-fightinngg T-The Neew... Breed.'' "Where are they now?" Leon asked Writ, not wanting to ask the man before him. "They are currently heading towards the enterance as we speak. A member of The New Breed is also there as well as the Acolyte.'' "Good. Grab her and kill any who stands in our way.'' Leon said. "What.. a-about me? Y-you ppromised... m-me a place in... your a-army if... I did t-this.'' HI-alchemist said. "I have every intention of keeping my word. Once we have what we need, I will be more than happy to give you whats coming to you. But for now, you will have to wait.'' Leon said as he placed a hand on HI-alchemist's shoulder, assuring him that Leon would not break his promise. The Reapers then made their was to Kazyen's location with one thing on their mind, and thus making them involved in this matter. *End of Chapter Ten*
