Is anyone waiting for this game to come out? I do, and I'm gonna spend my money on a PS2 rather than a DS. (or not) I don't know...but it does look good. Don't know about the Storyline though. |

I WILL buy this game. Seriously. Square-Enix owns my soul, and shared it with the FFT guys. I
bigass RPGs, and this looks like it won't be an exception.

I didn't enjoy their most recent releases that much, but I've heard a lot of good things about FFXII, so I'm really looking forward to that one. Especially with all the FFT (Quite possibly my favourite RPG) influence. |

Aww what can i say. At one point when there was a company called squarsoft that is when i would buy anything that they pumped out. Now a days I don't care I am still in love with RPGs but I like namco for that more now. Most stuff that has come out has really made me lose intrest in SE(Final Fantasy 10) So I don't think i'll be picking this game up. <_< |

Squaresoft died when they merged with Enix...Square's last game was Kingdom Hearts, correct? That one was pretty good. Anyway.. FFXII. I want more in-game shots. At this years E3, it was 99.9% trailers (I didn't see any in-game anyway...Just that awesome trailer). At LAST year's E3, we saw in-game and battle sequences...What is happening? |

I agree, Enix is ruining squaresoft, the latest installments are nothing compared to the older games |

Well. I was looking more into the graphic. Gameplay, I'm sure gonna be the same as before. (I hope). And I hope Square'll kick Enix out( and lost all their good graphic ..X() and Join Nintendo! Which I think they will and also remake all their games, again! XD |

Square's merging with Enix didn't kill them. People are still buying their games, and they're still making money. They're as successful as they've ever been, no? |

Square going back with Nintendo is unlikely, as the FF series ported to, of all consoles, the Xbox 360. FF12 reminds me of FF9 + FF10 + Star Wars. Good? Somewhat. The FF9 aspect is only in the feel of the shop areas. The FF10 in the way people dress, and that Vaan and Ashe(ironically, I didn't know her name until a few weeks after I made Ashé Carnove my FEP Roleplay character... XD...) are basically the same people Tidus and Yuna were. Yes, in the cutscenes, FF10 had actual people, and I'm positive FF12 will, too. I'll explain that. It's exactly the same method that was used in the movie "The Polar Express". They had the actors do all the motions with these electrodes attached to them, and the electrodes would be picked up by these computers. How did I figure this out? In the credits to FF10, there was a section that said; "CUTSCENE ACTORS". Now do you wonder why Tidus looks different in the cutscenes then on the regular map? =) Anyway.... that was kind of off-topic, but meh. |

but the cutscens are VERY good. I also heard the news that Square going to join Nintendo on the Rev. and remake FF: Crystal Chronicles (which is not THAt good)....X( |

Frankly, I've been disappointed with X, X-2, and XI. So I don't figure I'll pick up XII until the price is incredibly low. Especially if the characters are like Tidus and Yuna. But Square tends to make nice games, so I expect this one to have great graphics atleast. |

I am waiting for Final Fantasy XII, it looks really good. Although the last 3 installments of the Final Fantasy were not "up to Final Fantasy standards" but they were ok. Although I hope they fix up what they screwed up in the last installments and make this a really great game. |

Square used to be all about good RPGs.... Now..look at Full Metal Alchemist...1&2...did people buy enough of the first one to make a second one? The first game was crap, I'm guessing the second one will be crap as well. My favorite of Squares games is FF 1&2 Dawn of Souls..mainly for the first one. |
