In an effort to get something going here, I'll copy an idea that Eaichu did in my site's forums. Simple question: out of Monshou no Nazo, Seisen no Keifu and Thracia: 776, what is your favourite SNES Fire Emblem game? I would have to personally say Thracia for the gameplay and difficulty, but Seisen for the story and sound. Thracia's story drove me nuts, because it forces people to adhere to their idea of canon; Sety gets Holsety, Finn keeps the Hero Spear, etc. |

Probably Seisen no Keifu, or Thracia 776. Both of those games are unbelievable. FE4 was just a great game all around, and T776 was the most difficult FE. Finally, a decent challenge in Fire Emblem. |

Thracia 776. I think the only thing bad about it was Ronan's stats. ;_; |

Thracia 776. Overall, it is the most interesting FE game I have ever played. Edit: You should have made this a poll.

Thracia is the most polished. Hm. I'd probably rank it a bit above FE4.
You could say the same about most sequels. |

The problem with that, is that most prior games don't give you the amount of freedom that Seisen does. If you decide to do something in Seise, it affects the second generation. Thracia takes all of the possible combinations you can come up with, and goes "HAHAHA YOU HAVE TO GO BY WHAT WE THINK IS RIGHT BLOW ME!!!" |

It takes a couple at most. Levin/Fury, and Beowulf/Lachesis/Fin. And considering it's IntSys' storyline, I really don't see why they can't do what they like with it. |

Thracia 776. It was probably one of the hardest games I've played. |

I don't care about Seisen, but I'm kind of torn apart between Monshou and T776. I have to give T776 the benefit of the doubt though, since I still have a couple more battles left for Monshou. T776 wins in all departments imaginable: gameplay, chapter designs, story, characters, graphics, etc. However, mind you that I do give mad props to Seisen for having an excellent assortment of sounds to make up for the low-variety large battle maps of monotony. |

I would have to say that Monshou no Nazo is my personal favorite out of three. It has a sort of quaint charm that the others just don't have. But to be honest, I love all three of them. I even went out of my way just to get my hands on an actual copy of FE3 and FE4. |
