Alright, this is risky in a forum for a Nintendo game but... When the next generation consoles come out, which one would you rather buy? The Nintendo Revolution, the X-Box 360, or Playstation 3? Now, for some notes about the opening stuff. Please note not all this information is from official sites, but I believe it should be correct: Opening Games Rev: SSB (Online), Metroid, Animal Crossing 360: Halo 3? PS3: Devil May Cry, Opening Prices (don't cry, now) Rev: $200 360: $299 PS3: $465 Please note that these figures may not be exactly accurate, and if they are, may change! Misc. Fact Stuff -nVidia, who is developing the PS3 graphics chip, is actually not finished. Demos at the moment are not the same quality as the true PS3-to-be graphics; good, or bad news indeed. -It looks like the 360 will come out first, followed by the Rev. and PS3 coming at approximately the same time. Personally, with all this information, I'd go with the Revolution. It REALLY depends on how much the price fluctuates though. Nintendo has said they will start at a relatively low price, but who knows. But if this whole $465 dollar nonsense (let it be a rumour, please x_x) continues, I'm not quite sure what to think of a PS3. |

Revolution at that price... good deal... it's the best for it's price I believe. PS3 is ridiculously over priced... o_o; I'll get it only if it drops to 350 or below. Xbox 360 isn't over priced, I'll probably end up getting it too. |

The PS3 isn't even on my list anyways, mainly because the PS2 wasn't great. I didn't have that many games to play on it, and it's the weakest of the three consoles. The GC had far better party games, was easier to carry around, and had a more comfortable controller (IMO). The PS3 and 360 controllers look kinda... uncomfortable x_o |

PS3 is going to own all. Oh and by the way Pendant, Metal Gear Solid 4 is not going to be an opening game, the PS3 is coming out in Early 2006 and MGS4 is coming out Late 2007. The PS3 price is just an estimate, I bet it will go down significantly. But the only thing I would change is the PS3 controller....looks like a boomerang. But the problem with the Revolution is the fact that if you want to play the old games on it...you have to pay. But all the systems are going to have wireless controllers...at least I think thats what they said. |

Well, naturally you're going to have to pay for them. What, three dollars? Three games for under 10 dollars is not a bad deal. I believe the PS3 and Revolution are coming mid-2006, but I'll change the MGS information. |

Ah!! Teh Uber nintendo fanboi pwns jOO all!! :ph43r: :ph43r: :ph43r: What person who isn't a spoiled only child would buy that system at that price! PS3 must change the price, or submit. Well the 360, that just sucks. But it's got Halo! I swear that game is all that's keeping that system alive right now. More Animal Crossing? Won't they ever learn? SSB! *drools* My soul belongs to those games. Face it folks, backwards compatabilty owns you all. Graphics Schmaphics, they all look the same anyways. |

I share your believes wind sword...now heres my little statement thingy..... Microsoft Should just quit they aren't really fit in the video game world the only orginal game they have is halo and as Wind Sword said thats whats keeping them alive.What they have to learn: Make orginal games stop taking them from sony eventually they'll make it so they can't get those games anymore and Halo will literally be supporting them. Sony Is doing great but,with that price wtf are they thinking a good system is worth alot but not that much they think they're to great now and thats a problem,they also could use some more orginal games or better series anyway the only series tehy have that people buy if Grand Theft Auto which is eventually going to get them in trouble. Nintendo Has all the funnest games and longest most popular series and always has the best price.With online play they have no flaws at all now they're only missing a dvd player but....with great games and online play who needs a dvd player?They also not only provide the things that children enjoy they have somthing they're parents can enjoy that they're kids aren't playing Grand Theft Auto although if they decide they want to enter the adult or above 18 industry but keep all they're good old E-T then they will be the system of choice. :D Anyway I'm really excited and can't wait until 2006 |

I think the Revolution can play DVD's put you have to buy an internal attachment. |

Okay, you may think that. But the PS3 is going to have a blu-ray. Which the discs then hold 25 gb instead of 10 gb on the dvd laser. The dvd laser is going to be on the 360 and revolution. Thus the PS3 games will have better graphics, loading time is shortened, longer games...and I think there was a couple others. The PS3 is also backwards compatible, all the way to PS1. But its funny because the first pictures I saw of the new systems were all "silver." The companies must like silver. But I am probably going to get the Revolution and PS3. I agree with you guys that Halo is the one holding the x-box together and that a lot of the x-box were from the PS2. |

Nintendos games almost never have to load  OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!I just found somthing out you can download old nintendo games on the revolution!!!!!And you can also play GC games by the disk!OMG does that mean you can download all the old FE games

Frankly, PS2 seemed to be the one with the longest loading times anyways... XD And yes, the Revolution will be able to read DVDs. Also backwards compatable with GC, I believe. I love its size too <3 Approximately three DVDs stacked on top of one another. Also, the Blu-Ray stuff for PS3 sounds good, but it also makes all the games more expensive. $70 dollars per game? No thanks. And it's not like the PS2 was a great DVD player anyways. I'll admit, even with Sony's flaunting, I think the PS3 has amazing graphics. However, it's been said the Revolution and 360 also have great graphics. The PS3 will probably also turn out the weakest of the three, again. Ever played Sonic Heroes? Miserable game, but on all three of the systems. It has poor graphics, and it ran the worst on the PS2 +shock+ Just because there are good graphics doesn't mean the PS2 could actually handle much. Physically, it's not very reliable either (though the GC is kinda frail too). Revolution was mostly black, btw. The other two went with chrome stuff. |
