Here's my Gundam Wing fanfic. If you want a character in this, send me some info about them, and I might add them. Just name, age, personality, a physical discription, etc. Gundam: Legends Reborn Sizzle-sizzle sizzzzle. Boom! Armun dodged the on coming beam cannon bolt from the sleek, black Taurus twenty meters left of him. The sizzling of freshly burnt metal was in his ear as he returned fire on the rival suit. How is this guy able to dodge every shot I launch? There has to be a way to stop him. . . Year 0057 after the Mariemeia Rebellion A small town nearby formerly Hitachi, Japan Armun twisted the wrench with all his might, trying to tighten the bolt on the leg of the old mobile suit. There had been peace for as long as Armun had lived, but he still took care of the OZ-06MS Leo he had found in an old junkyard. Armun had always been a funny kid, preferring the company of old machines, tools, and blueprints to the company of people. Now 16, he spent all his free time working on the mobile suit, nicknamed Junker. With his short black hair, dark eyes, slightly muscular 5’8’’ frame, and dirty old coveralls, most people didn’t think much of Armun for looks. But once you talked to him, you realized there was something about him, something different. He was a brilliant mind, and could take excruciating amounts of pain for a human He also had determination that inspired everyone around him, or made them hate his positive attitude. “Ugh... Just…a… little more,” Armun grunted as tightened the bolt even further. “There, now to work on the 3 new armor plates in the left arm. Then I’ll be done for today!” “You’re pitiful Armun Gido! You spend all your time on that pile of junk. You should go try and get yourself a girlfriend!” a teenage girl with shoulder length reddish blonde hair said angrily as she walked through the doors into the hanger where Armun was working on the mobile suit. She placed her hands on her hips as she waited for Armun to respond to her. “Kiri... I don’t need a girlfriend. Junker is all the companion I’ll ever need.” Armun responded, grin on his face. “Stupid boy; why can’t you just be normal like the rest of us! There’s no war, and there hasn’t been for years! Not even our parents lived during wartime!” “You don’t know that Kiri. No one knows who my parents even are. They just found a baby one day, and saw a letter saying his name was Armun. I could be the grandson of a famous mobile suit pilot, maybe even a Gundam pilot!” Armun looked up, eyes wide open. “Stop daydreaming Armun. You aren’t related to anyone special. You should spend more time on normal things for a teenager to do and get your head out of the clouds!” Kiri said as she glared at Armun. “You’ll see. One day I’ll leave here and see the colonies, and you all will always wonder what happened to me. Then, when I become famous, you all will remember me and I will have forgotten you all.” He said defensively. Laughing, he turned and went towards the old Leo suit. “You’ll never learn. Why do I even try?” Kiri sighed as she walked away. Climbing the ladder to the upper walkways of the hangar, Armun began thinking. I’ll prove Kiri wrong. It’s not impossible to become a great mobile suit pilot, and I’ll prove it! Reaching the top of the ladder, Armun immediately reached for his blowtorch. Grasping it, he strode over towards the Leo’s left shoulder, dents and holes in the brownish armor. Picking up a heat mask, he flipped the torch on and began repairing the damaged armor. “Armun, there is a man outside here to see you. He has a large amount of metal,” an older man commented from the lower level, eyes unreflecting. “Oh, that must be Fin with my titanium order! Thanks Raoul.” he yelled back as he dropped the blowtorch and mask. Heading outside, he felt Raoul watching him. Since Armun had been seven, Raoul had been like a father to him. No one in the town knew how old Raoul was, but he looked old enough to have been around during the time of the Mariemeia Rebellion, over 50 years before. Any time Armun had misbehaved, it was Raoul who has disciplined him, and Armun felt close to the elderly man. Nevertheless, Raoul was distant and secretive, and many in the town thought him eccentric. Outside the hangar, Armun spoke to the man. “Fin, is that my order?” “Yeah Armun; I’m surprised you found this much scrap titanium in that old junkyard.” Fin said, gesturing to a pile of large metal sheets. “Thanks Fin. I really needed this.” “Anytime. All I did was process it for reuse. It’s nothing at all.” Fin said as he walked towards the driver’s side of his truck. As Fin drove off, Armun began carrying the titanium sheets into the hangar. Placing a fifth sheet down, Armun turned and saw Raoul, carrying a few sheets of the metal into the hangar. As the old man passed Armun, he nodded, not speaking. After all ten of the metal plates had been moved, Armun ran over to Kiri’s house, hoping to get some free food. “Hello Armun. How are you today?” Kiri’s mother said as Armun stepped through the door. “Fine Mrs. Mabun.” “You’re just in time for dinner, we’re having beef stew. Would you like to join us?” “Sure, if it wouldn’t be too much trouble.” Armun said, looking at the stove in front of Mrs. Mabun. “Actually, would you mind if I just took that to go? I have something I need to work on.” “Hahe. You’ll never change Armun.” She said as she scooped some of the soup into a thermos and handed it to Armun. “At least you’re getting away from that mobile suit to eat. The way Kiri talks you live in it.” Mrs. Mabun said, not realizing the boy was gone. After eating the stew, Amrun got right to work on the Leo. Within two hours time, one of the holes was repaired and a few of the dents had been removed. Exhausted, Armun fell asleep at the foot of the old mobile suit, and slept a dreamless sleep. Elsewhere “Sir, all is ready for Stage 1 of your plan. Shall I ready for combat?” “Hmm? Very well, take the II Corps and head out for Earth. Do not fail me Mizuchi. I do not tolerate failure.” “Yes sir.” So, what are your thoughts? |
