Snackoos = <3. It's science! Posts: 20,952 Group: Advisor Member #40 Joined: June 9, 2005	My brother and I think Dayan is so 1337 we named our ferret that looks like a silver wolf after him. Do you agree? Disagree? Why is he 1337/not 1337? Discuss. I'll post my reasons later.

Dayan wasn't that good. Although his Support conversation with Gonzolas was amusing enough. "You're not suppost to drink it all at once." "Urgh..."

For a nomadic trooper, his DEF and RES are quite outstanding, and he has a solid 9 CON. His SPD stat is pretty good. Better than most characters' in the game. He supports quickly with Shin and Sue and has amusing supports with Gonzales. He's a rather cool character, as well. Noble and a good leader. He uses bows and has great movement, making him highly effective against the most common type of enemy towards the end; the wyvern riders.

Gakutorishiusu Posts: 1,695 Group: Veteran Member #99 Joined: June 10, 2005	Good speed? If I remember, both Sue and Shin will end up with better speed. In anyway, they're better than him. His higher Defence and Resistance are nice and all, but his avoid is less than impressive, making him easier to hit for enemies. Besides that, his CON is pretty useless for a nomad. It's not like you'll give them blades, I personally just give them killing edges. The higher CON might make him wield a brave bow better, but it's not like Shin and Sue NEED it to kill an enemy. I wanted to give him a chance, but he couldn't even kill a paladin in two hits. And for me, that means he gets dumped. Now, I'm not saying he's bad. The other two (Especially hard mode Shin) are far more useful (Though Sue might struggle in strength). It is a fact that he's more useful than a lot of other pre-promotes, but just not enough for me. Just my opinion.

And IMO, Dayan is the most 1337. I'd much rather use Dayan over Sue, though. Sue is so easily raped by the RNG. Hard mode Shin owns all bow users, though. Nomads aren't meant to take down Paladins. They're meant for hit and runs against noobs and pwning flying units. Since most enemies are fliers in FE 6, Dayan PWNS.

But unfortunately I made the mistake of not bringing enough weapons, and it's just a little tough to fight when all of your weapons are broken. Ooo. Well, you don't need to take healing items if you're smart with Yodel. Iron weapons last a while, but are weak. Dayan has the CON for a Steel Bow, and he can be very handy with that, a Long Bow, Killer Bow, and Silver Bow. Yodel should have Physic, Mend, Lightning, Aureola, and Divine. Roy can use any 5 swords. It seems not so hard. I'll try it later.
